Linked above you will find recent revisions to include additional & suggested edits to the governing documents. We thank Lori Gilmore Malloy for her dedication and amazing amount of time and legal advice on the new revisions.
Please note: It was an error in the Bylaws, Article V, Section 3 to suggest members do not vote for the Board. Cheryl McDaniel apologizes for this confusion and confirms it has been corrected in this May 1, 2025 Version.
You will see any additional edits highlighted in RED.
We ask that you give the attached documents a thorough review. We plan to have an open discussion regarding the documents and the revisions at the Annual Meeting to answer any questions.
Questions may be sent to the Board prior to the Annual Meeting or you may ask questions at the Annual Meeting.

Dear Estate Fish Bay Owners' Association Members,
Yesterday, the EFBOA Board of Directors 2025 Election Ballot was distributed. Votes are already coming in, thank you everyone!

We have another important matter that we ask of the membership. In preparation for the annual meeting, on May 10, 2025, we ask that you give the attached documents a thorough review. At the annual meeting, we will have an open discussion on the revisions and to answer any questions.
​
After years of discussion, we present to you the revised Bylaws, Covenants, and the Articles of Incorporation. This has been a monumental effort from current and past board members, members of the community, legal counsel and research into common language from other HOA organizations.

1983: 42 years ago. Covenants were last written and signed into action in 1983. Articles of Incorporation were last written and signed into action in 1983.
2004: 21 years ago. Bylaws were last written and signed into action in 2004.
​
The Fish Bay community has grown considerably since these Documents were written and now the community totals over 160 parcel owners, many who live off-island.
​
Technology has also advanced over the past 2 decades. Email, Zoom, Websites, and other electronic improvements make it possible to communicate with the entire community, not just those who are able to attend a meeting or communicate in-person.
​
All edits are intended to make the documents more relevant to our current times, bring consistency between all documents and allow the governing documents to be the guide for Estate Fish Bay members and the Board.
Please review the information carefully. We share the original document, the original document with revisions and the clean copy of the suggested revised document.
