The Virgin Islands Department of Territorial Parks and Protected Areas announced that it has acquired approximately 50 acres of Wetlands in Fish Bay previously owned by the Island Resources Foundation, thus concluding several years of litigation. The parcels will remain undeveloped conservation land and will be protected in perpetuity. The linked document further explains the provisions of the acquisition and the restrictions that will apply to the land. Please note that no development will be allowed. No parking areas and no structures. Only trails, signs and overlooks will be permitted. ​
